Established in 1996, Textum was formed when industry veteran Elick Feinberg recognized the need to develop a highly specialized nylon scrim for a unique and demanding application. This market-facing, problem-solving approach set the foundation for a solutions-centered business model – one that still defines the company today.

Located in Belmont, North Carolina, Textum manufactures a wide range of engineered specialty and industrial fabrics and composites constructed from metal, glass, polymer, ceramic and natural fibers. These lightweight, high-performance woven leno scrims appear in a range of everyday markets, from transportation to general industry to energy – just to name a few.
